Electrician Falls To Death: Tragic Incident: Electrician Falls to Death from Building in Jaipur | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A 21-year-old electrician lost his life while working on the top floor of a high-rise apartment building on Sahakar Marg under Jyoti Nagar police station area of the city.
The police stated that victim has been identified as Chandan Singh whose death occurred on Thursday, leading to the registration of an FIR on Saturday.
According to police, the fatal accident took place while Singh was engaged in wiring tasks.He climbed on shafts covered with thermocol, cardboard and POP. Unfortunately, the makeshift arrangement gave way, causing him to fall down the shaft and resulting in immediate death, police said. After a two-hour-long rescue effort, Chandan’s body was successfully extracted. His family has filed a case, alleging negligence on the part of thebuilding owners and the company overseeing the work.
As per the police, Singh and his colleague were assigned tasks at the building by a company. The accident occurred when Singh inadvertently stepped on a sealed shaft covered with thermocol cardboard, POP, and tiles. The tiles gave way, leading to the tragic fall.
The postmortem was conducted at SMS Hospital, and the body has been handed over to the grieving family. The police have filed a case under IPC Section 304A (Causing death by negligence).

A 57-year-old Delhi Police sub-inspector died in a bike accident in Ghaziabad. The sub-inspector, Ashok Kumar, was returning from a wedding when his bike crashed into a divider. His helmet was broken into two due to the impact of the crash. Another accident occurred on the Hapur-Modinagar road, where a 35-year-old biker died after being hit by an unknown vehicle. The driver did not stop after the accident. Police are investigating both incidents.
