Jaipur: With President Draupadi Murmu scheduled to visit Jaipur on July 14 and the G20 conference set to be held in the city from July 29 to 31, JMC Heritage commissioner Rajendra Singh Shekhawat on Friday instructed officials to ensure cleanliness of the city on priority.
Shekhawat said detailed guidelines were issued by the state government to various departments and corporations on Thursday regarding the President’s visit. He said officials of the civic body have been instructed to get footpaths, verandahs, drains, potholes, dividers, and iron railings on roads repaired. They have also been asked to replace iron covers over drains wherever damaged and put covers on open drains within ten days.tnn
