Federation: Ministerial Staff Plan Mahapadao Outside Gehlot’s Home On April 17 | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Employees under the state ministerial employees’ federation, who are on mass leave from April 10, have decided to organise a mahapadao outside chief minister’s residence (CMR) for an indefinite period from April 17 over delay in fulfilling their demands.
They have been demanding equal pay as paid to ministerial employees of the secretariat and employees recruited through RPSC. Other demands include restoration of pay to Rs 9,840, one-time relaxation in promotional posts up to Grade Pay 3600, issuance of notification for recruitment for the posts of panchayati raj department, issuing orders for transfers in the panchayati raj department.
Federation president Raj Singh Choudhury said, “The employees of Jaipur district are also on leave from today (Wednesday). Even after having similar recruitments, equal qualification and similar work, the ministerial employees are less paid than ministerial employees of the secretariat and employees recruited through Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).” “Along with this, there is a demand to restore the salaries of junior assistants, which was deducted earlier,” he said.
Earlier, ministerial employees had boycotted half-a-day’s work and staged protests outside the district and block headquarters accusing the government of neglecting their demands.
More than 50,000 ministerial employees from 33 districts had participated in a pre-budget rally, which was taken out from Saheed Smarak to Civil Lines, in order to draw the attention of the state government.
