Jaipur: On Thursday, an FIR was filed against two individuals, including the BJP’s Kishanpole candidate Chandra Manohar Batwara, following a court order at the Sanjay Circle police station in the city.
The case revolves around a dispute concerning the control of a body of the Khandelwal community, responsible for overseeing various educational and religious activities.The complaint was lodged by Deepak Rawat, alleging that Batwara and Dinesh Sethi established two separate executive committees under the same registration number of the Khandelwal Vaishya Hitkarini Sabha. The FIR accuses them of embezzling funds generated through educational and religious institutions of the organization. It has been filed under multiple IPC sections, including 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust). tnn

FIR against seven for cheating overseas job seekers in Navi Mumbai
Navi Mumbai Police filed a case against seven individuals for defrauding overseas job seekers of Rs 81.75 lakh. The accused established an office in Kharghar area and promoted fake overseas employment opportunities. They provided counterfeit tickets and falsified travel documents to 113 victims, who did not secure any employment. No arrests have been made yet. Authorities suspect that more job seekers may have fallen victim to the accused individuals. A case has been registered, and the police are actively investigating the matter.
