Jaipur: Gandhinagar Jaipur station of North Western Railway (NWR) on Monday was awarded the status of Eat Right station by FSSAI, becoming the fourth station to get this status in the state. The station has been given the status for two years.
Earlier, Jaipur, Ajmer and Alwar stations of NWR have received the certificate. “Under the guidance of general manager Vijay Sharma, Gandhinagar Jaipur station has been selected for standard quality of catering services on NWR. All food business operators have FSSAI food license or registration. According to the pre-audit check list at the station, deficiencies were removed and all supervisors and food handlers were trained on topics such as hygiene, cleanliness, nutritional, food value, temperature maintenance,” said Captain Shashi Kiran, chief public relations officer NWR.
