Jaisalmer: A 15-year-old girl and a man in Barmer committed suicide by jumping into a water tank on Saturday. The police fished out the bodies and sent them to the mortuary in Dhorimanna hospital. The minor was missing for the last two days and had left a letter.
Dhanau SHO Omprakash Choudhary said that police got information that bodies of a boy and girl are floating in a water tank at Sutharo ki Dhani. Outside the tank were two mobile phones which were switched off. Both were identified as Karnaram (25), a resident of Sutharon ki Dhani and Pramila, a resident of Bhalisar. The family members were also present there, he said. On the other hand local villagers said that the neighbour of the deceased youth had made a tank and water was supplied from the tank through a tap. tnn
