JAIPUR: The high court has postponed the final hearing of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021 paper leak case to July 25.
The SOG which was investigating the case filed its final report in the court on Thursday after it questioned the then RBSE chairman DP Jaroli and then secretary Arvind Kumar Sengwa on the court directions. The report also includes a note on the interrogation of DP Jaroli.
The SOG ruled out any role for RBSE chairman DP Jaroli and the perpetrators of the crime are found to be Jaipur district coordinator Pradeep Parashar and his associate Ramkripal Meena.
Meena, who was employed by the district coordinator for security of papers at Shiksha Sankul in Jaipur, allegedly stole a paper and gave it to Udaram Vishnoi.
The SOG in its investigation report told the court that so far, 71 people have been arrested in the entire case, out of which challan has been issued against 65 people. The court will take its final call on the three petitions including the cancellation of level-I and level-II exams. Another petition seeks the cancellation of the level-I exam only while the third challenges the government’s decision to cancel the Level II exam.
