Rlp: Compensate Farmers For Towers On Their Land: Rlp | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) leader and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal on Saturday wrote to chief minister Ashok Gehlot regarding compensation for land forcibly being used for the installation of towers of high tension and extra high tension power lines in their Khatedari lands without the consent of the farmers.
Beniwal pointed out that the farmers of various districts, including Nagaur, Jodhpur, and Bikaner informed him that land is being forcibly taken from the farmers for setting up towers of power lines by various government and private power grid by solar companies but no compensation is given to the farmers.
The MP said that a lot of land of the farmers is affected due to this work. Beniwal has asked Gehlot to get a report of such cases from every district and to provide proper compensation to the farmers.
