On Thursday, the director Sandeep, actor Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and the makers were in Delhi for the trailer launch of the movie. There during the media interaction, Ranbir Kapoor confessed he felt ‘Kabir Singh’ would tank on the big screen.
Ranbir said, “I saw ‘Arjun Reddy’ before the announcement of ‘Kabir Singh,’ and I felt there could not be a better love story than this. Then Sandeep brought the same story with ‘Kabir Singh,’ and I challenged that it would not be a hit, as the performance, music, and charm that ‘Arjun Reddy’ had could not be recreated. But, he did it again.”

In the conversation, Ranbir also spoke about his experience of working with Sandeep. He called the experience marvelous, as he finds Sandeep a very original writer and director.
He stated, “We used to talk so much that all this must have happened in Sandeep’s life otherwise from where is he getting these ideas. But, it’s been too inspiring. For artists like us to get a filmmaker like him. His voice and thoughts are so original that we actors are dying to work on such films and with directors like him. So, it has been a wonderful experience.”

Featuring Anil Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and more in pivotal roles, ‘Animal’ will make it to the big screen on December 1.
