Jaisalmer: The work of the dream project of Rajasthan, Barmer refinery will gain pace as now the construction works can be done in night shift also.
Barmer district collector Lok Bandhu reviewing the project at Pachpadra directed to start the night shift to speed up the work. He also directed to complete corporate social responsibility in a time-bound manner.
The refinery works are 60% complete. Bandhu also reviewed the law-and-order situation and gave necessary directions. Superintendent of police Deepak Bhargava was also present with him.
With construction of refinery, thousands of people will get employment and industrial development will also pick up pace with the development of petrochemical industry .
Bandhu directed to complete the corporate social responsibility works, especially in education and health sector, so that local lifestyle can witness change.
He also asked to simultaneously complete the environment related works. He also discussed departmental coordination and pending issues. The management apprised him about providing facilities of environment, roads, drinking water, electricity, hospital, school, etc., under the CSR head.
