JAIPUR: Rural development and panchayati raj minister Ramesh Chand Meena on Saturday said the state government has created a ‘special fund’ of Rs 100 crore for people who have not been covered under any scheme.
Addressing the first session of Rajasthan Rural Development Service Council organised at Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sansthan, Meena said block development officers (BDOs) should make proposals after identifying beneficiaries to be covered under the ‘special fund’. He said corruption in the department would not be tolerated at all. “Strict action will be taken against the officials concerned if irregularities are found in the work,” said Meena. tnn
