“We are on alert mode. I have instructed the station house officers of Gopalgarh, Kaman, Pahari, Jurhera, Kaithwara and Khoh police station areas to be extra vigilant and ensure that no commotion should take place in these areas,” Mridul Kachawa, superintendent of police, Bharatpur told TOI. “Since Nuh-Mewat is merely 35-40 kms from Gopalgarh, the entry and exit from Gopalgarh will be checked properly,” he added.
Also, Bharatpur police is keeping an eye on social media accounts. They have warned people, especially rumour-mongers to stay away from spreading any fake information. “Our cyber team is working on it. Strict action will be taken if any inflammatory, derogatory or fake remarks or information is passed via any account,” he said.
