Bjp: Entry Fee Sparks A Political Squabble | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The charging of entry fees for visits to City Park has sparked a political war of words after the BJP MLA from Sanganer, Ashok Lahoty, raised an objection in a letter to CM Ashok Gehlot. Responding to Lahoty’s contention, Congress leader Pushpendra Bhardwaj issued a press release alleging that the BJP legislator is trying to take “unnecessary political advantage” by making a decision of Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) an issue. “Jaipur’s City Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the country. However, those MLAs who remained silent when anti-social elements stole material from it and damaged constructions in it are making unnecessary political statements today when the government has started charging a ‘minimum’ entry fee. Such objections are unacceptable,” said Bhardwaj.
