Police stop Youtuber Elvish Yadav at Kota checkpoint, let off | Jaipur News

KOTA/JAIPUR: Popular YouTuber and reality TV star Elvish Yadav was temporarily stopped by the Kota (rural) police at a checkpoint near the border with Jhalawar on Saturday.
A senior officer reported that Yadav, who was among six individuals booked on Thursday in Noida, based on a complaint by the NGO, People for Animals (PFA). Accused of supplying snake venom to make opioids at rave parties, he was traveling with his friends when he was intercepted during a routine checking, ahead of the assembly elections.
The official stated that Yadav was let off after receiving confirmation from the Noida police that the charges against him were yet to be corroborated.”Yadav was stopped for routine questioning at the checkpoint while he was traveling with his friends from Kota towards Jhalawar in the evening,” said an official.
The interrogation lasted for 15 minutes. “He (Yadav) cooperated during the inquiry and did not attempt to flee,” another official mentioned. tnn
