Indo-Pak War Victory: Army celebrates Indo-Pak war victory in Barmer Jaisalmer | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: To commemorate the victory of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, various programs were organized by Indian Army in the Barmer border belt area. During this, the Station Commander of Jalipa Military Station of Barmer, officials of the Indian Army, BSF and distinguished citizens were present.
In the series of programs being organized on the occasion of Vijay Diwas, the Army was present at the Vijay Gate of Jalipa Military Station, Barmer.Tributes were paid at the statue of Lieutenant General Hanut Singh. Commander of Jalipa Military Station, officers of BSF & Air Force and Rawat Tribhuvan Singh were among those who paid tribute. During this, college students, NCC cadets and stout were present. An exhibition of weapons was organised by the Indian Army for the students. In this, students were made aware of various weapons and equipment used in the army. During this, the students were introduced to the history ofVijay Diwas and told that the war of 1971 is definitely engraved in golden letters in history of India. tnn
