Sports Nutrition: Pm’s Whirlwind Tour From Nov 15-23 | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set for a whirlwind tour of poll-bound Rajasthan to cover 80 seats from November 15-23. His first visit to the state following the final list of candidates declared on November 9 will be in Baytoo, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Jalore, Pali and Bikaner.
Jasialmer-Barmer has a total of nine seats, including one won by the BJP in the 2018 polls. The next two public addresses are still not finalised but are likely to be held in Shekhawati and Hadauti, while the tour will conclude with roadshows in Jaipur and Jodhpur on November 22 and 23, respectively.
“Baytoo is considered a centre of Jat politics in the border districts. The party has identified it as a region among the weak areas. The saffron party has lost its stalwarts, including former MP Jaisalmer-Barmer Sona Ram. The unceremonial exit of former cabinet minister Jaswant Singh is still fresh in the minds of the party’s traditional voters. Considering the sensitivity, the party has chosen the visit of Modi, which is to impact 15-20 seats,” said a party leader.
The party leader added that the gap between November 15 and 23 will have at least two to three visits. “During the period, Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah will make rounds in the state in areas where the party is facing rebellion and candidates considered weak by the party.”
The next likely visit is a nine-kilometre roadshow in Jaipur’s three constituencies (Hawa Mahal, Kishanpole, and Aadarsh Nagar) on November 22. The BJP hopes the roadshow will turn the tables in favour of the party’s candidates, who are facing tough competition from the Congress candidates. The saffron party is betting on new candidates like Balmukund Acharya (Hawa Mahal), Ravi Nayyar (Aadarsh Nagar) and Chandramohan Batvada (Kishanpole) against the two sitting Rafeek Khan (Aadarsh Nagar), Amin Khan (Kishanpole) and Jaipur district president R R Tiwari. The last date for the campaign is November 23. The official programme will be made public after Diwali.
PM’s roadshow in Jodhpur will impact the city’s four constituencies. The proposed roadshow will be in the city, covering CM Ashok Gehlot’s seat in Sardarsahar, and Soorsagar and Luni.
