Jagatpura: Jagatpura Gets 35 Vehicles For Collection Of Garbage | Jaipur News

Jaipur: JMC-Greater mayor Somya Gurjar on Wednesday flagged off 35 new waste collection vehicles for Jagatpura zone. With this, each ward of the zone will get three waste collection vehicles, said Gurjar.
The mayor said that more waste collection vehicles will be deployed in the Jagatpura zone to meet the requirements but initially 35 have been flagged off so that regular waste collection can start.
This is the third zone in the JMC Greater area where waste collection vehicles have been deployed this month. On Monday, the mayor flagged off 40 waste collection vehicles for Sanganer zone. Earlier this month, door-to-door waste collection started in Jhotwara zone of JMC Greater with 47 vehicles being flagged off by the mayor.
“These vehicles have the capacity of collecting 1,200kg of waste at one time which will improve the door-to-door garbage collection in Jagatpura zone.
After Malviya Nagar, Murlipura, Jhotwara, Sanganer zones, the new system of door-to-door garbage collection has been started in Jagatpura zone by the corporation, We will also start effective monitoring of the waste collection process and similar system will be deployed in the remaining zones too,” said the mayor. tnn
