JAIPUR: A compounder and an unidentified man allegedly molested a 30-year-old woman undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city’s Bhankrota police station area. The woman’s husband filed an FIR on Thursday after she narrated her ordeal to him.
In his complaint, he said his wife was admitted in the hospital on Monday for delivery. On Wednesday morning, the compounder Ajay and another unknown man entered her room where she was undergoing treatment after delivery.
The Bhankrota police said the accused first tried to touch the woman inappropriately on the pretext of applying ice to treat her swelling even as she resisted their advances.
But one of the accused allegedly injected her with something that caused her to fall into a state of semi-consciousness. But the accused continued to touch her.
“The accused inappropriately touched the woman, she narrated her ordeal to her husband and he filed a complaint,” said DCP (West) Richa Tomar.
