Jaipur: The Jaipur International Airport has issued an advisory for passengers to reach the airport early on Friday in view of expected traffic diversions in the city.
On social media platform, X, the airport put out a statement, “Dear passengers, Jaipur Airport is anticipating significant traffic congestion and diversions in various parts of the city on December 15, 2023, due to ongoing political events.To ensure a smooth travel experience, we urge all passengers to plan their journey in advance.”
Airport officials requested passengers to “plan their travel in advance to ensure they have ample time to reach the airport despite potential traffic disruptions.” TNN

Ayodhya’s Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, inspired by the Nagara style of architecture, incorporates the cultural identity and roots of Ayodhya. The airport terminal, designed by Sthapati, features 12 columns symbolizing the weight-bearing role of a head in the human body. The design includes depictions of the seven kaands of the Ramayana and 3D turan dawars at the entrance. The architectural firm conducted a ground survey of Ayodhya and referred to old literature and history to create the design. The airport also incorporates modern carbon neutrality concepts using glass reinforced concrete (GRC) to reduce weight and carbon footprint.
