JAISALMER: PM Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben visited the highly revered Baba’s Samadhi temple at Ramdevra in Jaisalmer on Saturday. The temple committee welcomed her with a shawl and presented a photo of the Baba.
She also listened to Modi’s 100th episode of Mann ki Baat for a few minutes before leaving. The programme was organised by BJP workers. She was accompanied by her brother’s family.
Ramdeora mandal president Ummed Singh Bhati said in the visitors’ register, she wrote her name as Jashoda Ben Modi. Security was tightened for her visit. She left for Gujarat later in the day.
At Mahabaar Safed Aankada temple in Barmer City, 3-4 girls were stung by bees while they were hearing Mann ki Baat. They were taken to the district hospital for treatment.
