Jawan box office collection day 1: Shah Rukh Khan beats Pathaan with a huge margin, the Atlee directorial earns Rs 75 crore all India | Hindi Movie News
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has set the cash register ringing and how. The Atlee directorial has created history on its opening day and it has beaten SRK’s own record held by his previous release Pathaan with a huge margin.
According to Box Office India, Jawan has already earned Rs 60 crore nett on day 1 and the film’s collection will finish off the day with Rs 65 crore mark.Earlier, Pathaan had collected Rs 56 crore nett on a normal working and Jawan has surpassed SRK’s previous record by Rs 9 crore nett.
The movie, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra among several others, has also picked up in both Tamil and Telugu versions. It will add up Rs 8-10 crore nett more, taking Jawan’s all India total to around Rs 73-75 crore nett.Jawan has also received an unprecedented response in Gujarat and West Bengal circuits. The numbers from these regions will just be edging past Pathaan numbers for the Hindi version. The movie had already sold 5.57 lakh tickets in advance booking and the numbers are going to be massive in the days to come.
Earlier in the day, SRK tweeted that he is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for Jawan and promised fans that he would take time out to thank them for watching his latest film in cinema halls.
