Jda: Jda Removes Squatters From 25 Bighas Spread Over 2 Sites In Zone 12 | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Acting against illegal constructions, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on Monday removed encroachments on 25 bighas from two different sites in zone 12.
Officials said that in zone 12, illegal construction was done on an agricultural land of 15 bighas without land conversion.
The enforcement wing of JDA sent a team on Monday to demolish the structures and clear the land. In Sukhsagar Enclave on Kalwar road, officials cleared encroachments from three bighas of JDA land where a river drain was covered after levelling the soil and constructing a tin shed room over it.
The estimated cost of removing encroachment from this land is about Rs 2 crore, said officials.
Raghuveer Saini, chief controller for enforcement in JDA said that the enforcement wing is ensuring effective legal action by demolishing new illegal colonies under the policy of ‘zero tolerance’. “From 2019 till date, 684 new illegal colonies have been demolished. The enforcement wing is regularly taking action against illegal properties in the city.
