Congress Government: Bjp Targets Cong Over Appeasement Politics | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi slammed the Congress government for allowing repeated acts of hatred against Hindu people and its culture.
In a press conference held at the BJP media office in Jaipur, Trivedi said that the Congress government didn’t act on the threats to tailor Kanhaiya Lal, which encouraged the extremists to slit his throat.He listed out a series of communal incidents in the state, blaming Congress’appeasement politics.
Accusing the Congress party of releasing an anti-Hindu political advertisement, he said, “The Congress has released an advertisement showing law and order issue which is an admission that they failed to control. The same video shows the anti-social element wearing a saffron scarf. This is not a mistake but a deliberate act that reflects Congress’s theory of eradicating Sanatan dharma in practice and its hatred towards Hindus and its culture.”
He was referring to a political advertisement (video) released by Congress on November 13. Raising the issue of hijab, he said that Gehlot had promised to ban the practice of ghoongat from the state but excluded hijab, which shows the double standard.
Sharpening his attack on similar lines, he said that Congress speaks of the development of poor and marginalized communities but remained silent when atrocities were committed against them by the ‘Jihadi Katharpantis.’

Nearly 150 members from various political parties, including Trinamool Congress and Congress, have joined the ruling BJP in Assam. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma welcomed the new members and emphasized that the BJP is the only party that works in the interest of the nation, without any dynastic politics. The state BJP unit shared a photograph of Sarma with the leaders who joined, and a BJP spokesperson stated that most of the new members were district and block-level workers from the Congress.

The state president and MP Revanth Reddy will also be contesting. The elections are expected to be a three-way contest between the BJP, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and the Congress. In the previous election, the BRS won 88 seats, while the Congress won 19.
