Kajol recalls how Shah Rukh Khan carried her on his shoulder for ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ photoshoot: ‘He didn’t make me feel heavy’ | Hindi Movie News

Fans remember every scene from the film and that’s why it’s always alluring to see Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan talk about ‘DDLJ‘.Fans are always excited to see them talk about each other as the SRK-Kajol pair remains so loved.

In a recent interview, Kajol has opened up on how they shot for the poster of the film where SRK carried her on his shoulder. During a chat with Curly Tales, Kajol was shown a few pictures and she had to express what comes to her mind seeing those images. One of them was the ‘DDLJ’ poster. Kajol reacted to it and said that the first thing which comes to her mind seeing it is how she got into that position. She further recalled, ‘Ek toh bechara Shah Rukh khada hai kandhe pe uthaake. Mujhe bura lag raha tha uske liye (I was feeling bad that he had to carry me on his shoulder’. She further added that she was very worried if he can do it and asked him that. Kajol further laughed that may be Shah Rukh took that as a hit on his masculinity that how could I ask him if he can do this. SRK told Kajol, ‘don’t worry. I’m strong’.
The actress further recalled that they were at photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha’s studio when they shot this. “Shah Rukh sweetly me on his shoulder and didn’t make me feel heavy at all,” confessed Kajol. She joked that in the poster and at that time, it looked all ‘wow’ and effortless even though, later Shah Rukh might have had a frozen shoulder.

Apart from DDLJ, Shah Rukh and Kajol have appeared together in movies like ‘Baazigar’, ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘Dilwale’.
