Kartik Aaryan had made a dramatic entry and exit from Karan Johar’s production house when he was cast in the sequel of 2008 comedy film Dostana and few months down the line he exited the film over creative differences, which led to the film being shelved. Kartik Aaryan never went around talking about his differences with Karan, but both were known to avoid each other at social dos.
But now it seems all this is a thing of the past as the two celebs who are currently attending a film festival in Australia are said to be in talks about collaborating once again for a project.
Speaking about the same at a press conference, KJo said, “We made one attempt and for various reasons that didn’t fructify. We have been in conversation to do something, and I hope that does happen. In fact, we are both quite excited about it.”
When the reporter asked if it was about Dostana 2, Karan dodged the question and said, “Ask us no secrets and we will tell you no lies.”
The first sign of things cooling down between the two came when they were spotted sharing the stage with many other celebs at an award show. Then the two of them bumped into a cinema hall which Kartik had visited to check the response of his last release SatyaPrem Ki Katha and Karan was there for some work.
