Jaipur: All India Congress Committee president Mallikarjun Kharge will address a farmers’ conference in Bhilwara’s Gulabpura on September 6.
Kharge will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various schemes of the Milk Producers’ Union. Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) general secretary and spokesperson Swarnim Chaturvedi said that Kharge is visiting the state for the second time after his election at the request of the PCC.
He had been to Alwar during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra earlier.
He said that Kharge will address a huge farmers rally at NH 48, Gulabpura, that will be attended by a large number of farmers and Congressmen.
The rally will also be addressed by AICC Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra, chief minister Ashok Gehlot, revenue minister Ramlal Jat, co-in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin, Amrita Dhawan and Virendra Singh Rathore.
Kharge said Dotasra has informed presidents of all the district Congress committees, block Congress committees, Mandal Congress committees, office bearers, party MLAs, MLA candidates, MPs, MP candidates, AICC and PCC members to attend the conference along with maximum number of farmers.
