Kota: A Class 10 student of a government school allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling fan at her room at Bapu Colony here on Friday. The reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained as no suicide note has been found.
Police on Saturday handed over the body to family members after post-mortem and began investigation under Section 174 of CrPC.The deceased has been identified as Nikita Koli (15).
According to assistant sub-inspector at Kunhari police station Kartar Singh, the girl returned home after school on Friday and allegedly hanged herself from ceiling fan. The father of the deceased, Bhawanishankar, said that he was at work and received a call from his landlord about the incident. tnn

A 30-year-old undertrial prisoner, Balaram Behera, from Karada village under Panikoili police station, was found hanging in an under-construction building at the sub-jail in Ragadi.
