Lahore Is Keeping An Eye On Tonk Polls: Bidhuri | Jaipur News

Jaipur: BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri has once again stirred controversy by making a statement during his campaign in the Tonk district, which has a significant Muslim voter population.
The MP, who recently courted controversy over his derogatory remarks in Parliament against BSP MP Danish Ali said in the election state, “Lahore is keeping an eye on elections in Tonk.”
Bidhuri was addressing a youth workers’ meeting organised by the party candidate on Tuesday night.A video of the meeting went viral on social media.
“Lahore is keeping an eye on elections in Rajasthan, particularly Tonk. Who gives shelter to PFI people? When PFI people are caught, who provides them food? People sitting in Tonk feed them,” he said.
“We will have to see whether laddus should be distributed in the country or in Lahore after the elections on 25th,” he said.
Bidhuri continued, “Here, terrorists like Hamas have an eye that if someone dies in an accident, his family is given a job and Rs 50 lakh, but if an innocent Kanhaiya is murdered, then talks of giving Rs 5 lakh as alms are done,” he said.
The meeting was organised by the BJP candidate from Tonk Ajit Mehta.
Sitting MLA and former deputy CM Sachin Pilot is contesting as the Congress candidate from Tonk, which has a sizeable population of Muslim voters.
