Land Allotment: Shekhawat Slams Gehlot Govt At Event In Jaisalmer | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: BJP’s farmers’ wing targeted CM Ashok Gehlot’s Congress government on various issues at a ‘Nahi Sahega Jaisan’ programme organised at Hanuman Chauraha in Jaisalmer and gheraoed the district collectorate on Monday.
Union minister Gajendra Singh attended the programme as the chief guest, accompanied by his cabinet colleague Kailash Choudhary. Issues such as the alleged fake land allotment in Mohangarh, scam of crores of rupees at a central cooperative bank, shortage of teachers in government schools, irregularities in KCC insurance claims of farmers, shortage of electricity were raised by the BJP leaders and workers at this programme.
Additional district collector Gopal Lal Swarnkar reached the venue and took the memorandum from the BJP leaders, who warned that the party would stage a mahapadao if the problems raised in the memorandum were not resolved within 15 days.
Addressing the meeting, the BJP leaders warned the administrative officers, saying that the saffron party would form the government in the state after four months and would not spare corrupt officers.
Shekhawat alleged that Rajasthan had become number 1 in crime and corruption and that no work is done without money changing hands. He said the people would throw Congress out of power.
“Congress came to power on fake promises. Unable to fulfill the promises it made, the Congress government is now distributing guarantee cards. In these four years and a half, Gehlot did nothing except saving his chair. If work had been done, there would be no need to distribute these guarantee cards,” said Shekhawat.
