Jaisalmer: A Class 8 student drowned in the water tank of his school in Barmer rural police station area on Monday. The boy’s family members alleged carelessness on the part of the sole teacher on duty at the school and the Barmer SDM sent an education department official to investigate. According to police, Vikram, 14, at about 11am fell into the water tank situated outside his classroom. TNN
