Jaisalmer: Barmer Sadar police arrested a hardcore criminal identified as Virdharam who was wanted for smuggling of narcotics in Madhya Pradesh, Chittorgarh and Barmer.
SP Digant Anand said that Barmer police arrested Virdharam, a resident of Barmer district, and also seized his four-wheeler. “This criminal was wanted in Nimbahera and Mangalwad police stations in Chittorgarh district and Neemuch police station in Madhya Pradesh for smuggling of doda post and opium. A total of 10 cases are under consideration in court and the criminal had been absconding since 2017,” Anand said. TNN
