Jaipur: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her father since 2020 after the death of her mother at a village under Kotwali police station in Churu. The girl kept mum as she was allegedly beaten by her father. Finally, on Wednesday the girl broke her silence and spoke to her maternal uncle and an FIR under appropriate sections of POCSO Act and IPC was lodged at the Kotwali police station.
The girl in the complaint also alleged that the accused father had also given her contraceptive pills when once she became pregnant.
According to police, the maternal uncle of the girl in his report stated that her niece had called his wife and asked them to take her away from her home.
“The maternal uncle along with his wife went to the village and met the girl on Tuesday. The girl told that since the death of her mother in 2020 from a heart attack, her father was continuously raping her. The father had also threatened the girl to keep mum else he will kill her. The girl also told her maternal uncle and aunt that her father was also beating her,” said Rampratap Chaudhary, SHO Kotwali.
It is also alleged in the FIR that a month ago when her brother saw his father raping his sister, he too resisted, but he was thrown out of the house.
“She is allowed to live with her maternal aunt and uncle as per her wish. The father is on the run. He will be arrested soon,” Chaudhary said.
