Market Research: Assembly Rocked Over ‘red Diary’, Adjourned Sine Die | Jaipur News

Rathore said there was no reason for Dilawar’s suspension. He demanded a debate in the House on crimes against women besides referring to the July 24 incident when Gudha had waved a ‘red diary’ and wanted to table it in the House.

PCC president and Congress MLA Govind Singh Dotasra and PHED minister Mahesh Joshi raised objections to Rathore’s allegations.
Joshi intervened and said, “This is the height of lying. It has become a training institute for BJP to tell lies. Which red diary? Who snatched it, BJP constantly lying,” he claimed.
Dotasra said, “What happened on July 21 in the Assembly was a fixed match (noora kusthi) which led to the sacking of Gudha while questioning the relevance of his reference to the red diary.”
It was followed by uproar in the House with BJP MLAs rushing to the well shouting slogans which led the Speaker to adjourn the proceedings for half an hour. When the House reassembled, the BJP members continued their protest but the Speaker carried on with the business in the Zero Hour calling the members to speak on adjournment motions and calling attention motions. Later, deputy chief whip Mahendra Chaudhary tabled the report of the business advisory committee which was passed by voice vote.
Speaker Joshi asked the BJP MLAs to return to their seats, saying he has given them an opportunity to raise their points and now he will take up the listed business.
When the uproar continued, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings for another 30 minutes. The House passed five bills without any discussion in 23 minutes before adjourning sine die after the national anthem as Wednesday was the last day of the proceedings of the present 15th Assembly.
