According to the police, the woman was found hanging from the ceiling and her husband and other family members intimated the police around 1pm on Sunday.
The woman was identified as Sandhya Devi who is originally from Uttar Pradesh and after her marriage with Lakshman Gurjar she was living with her in-laws at Pakhala village of Sawai Madhopur.
“Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, however, the post-mortem report will clear if it has some murder angle into it or not. We are waiting for the arrival of the parents of the woman. Post-mortem would be conducted on Monday,” said a senior officer of Bonli police station.
“The team of FSL have collected the sample from the room where she was found hanging. It is too early to jump on any conclusion. Only after proper investigation the reasons behind the death would be known,” he added.
