Jaisalmer: A married woman committed suicide in her in-laws’ place at Nedan village in Pokhan sub-division of Jaisalmer district on Saturday night. Police informed her parents of her death and started an investigation.
SHO Adesh Kumar of Sakadaa police station said that Mooli, 25, the wife of Khalhuram and daughter of Nakhtaram, committed suicide by hanging herself at her in-laws’ house on Saturday night.
Her parents, upon learning of her suicide, lodged a case against her husband and parents-in-law, alleging a string of dowry harassment incidents as the reason, he added. tnn
