Medicos: Of 245 Medicos, Two Can Sit In Exam Due To Poor Attendance | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Sawai Man Singh Medical College has taken strict action against absentee MBBS students. Out of 245 students, just one student of 2020 batch was found eligible for appearing in the community medicine examination due to not fulfilling attendance criteria.
Department of community medicine issued a letter to college principal Dr Rajeev Bagarhatta informing that all students of 2020 batch of MBBS have failed fulfilling the criteria laid down by National Medical Commission (NMC) and Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) for appearing in final MBBS part-I university examination in community medicine.
A medical student of 2020 batch said, “We have three papers but out of them, in one paper, entire class except two has been found ineligible due to attendance criteria..” The students will have to sit in supplementary exams.
