Mental Health: Sanskrit Univ Starts 18 Free Courses, Gets Good Response |

Jaipur: The Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University (JRRSU) has started 18 free online courses on different topics to increase the reach of the subject outside the state too.
Officials said that there is a good response for the courses with over 2,000 applications being received in one week and over 56,000 applications received till now.
The application process started in the first week of September and applications are open till September 30.
Officials will develop the courses further and provide online class facilities. “The scheme, Global Sanskrit Service, has been started to increase the reach of the subject among people from different walks of life. We have kept all the courses free of cost at present, and classes will be given in both online and offline mode,” said prof Ram Sewak Dubey, VC, JRRSU. TNN

The institute inaugurated the Software Programmer Course (SPC), which includes theory and on-the-job training, focusing on programming concepts and software application design. IIM Bodh Gaya had signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Skill Development Corporation to facilitate this initiative.
JDA to dispose of land lease applications by September 30
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has decided to address all pending land lease applications by September 30th, following directives from the urban development department. There are approximately 5,000 pending applications, and the JDA has been instructed to dispose of them before the model code of conduct for the upcoming assembly election is implemented. To ensure the process is not hampered, citizen centers will remain open even on Sundays and holidays until September 30th. The JDA has also conducted anti-encroachment drives in various areas of the city to regain possession of government land.
