Mild Showers Continue In State; Temp To Rise From Feb 5 Onward | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Mild to moderate showers continued at some places in the state for the second consecutive day on Monday. Amet in Rajsamand district received a rainfall of 80 mm, the highest in the state.
Jaipur Met office said the rainfall activity will decrease from Tuesday and that Wednesday would be a bright sunny day. The Met office also said that most places in the state would witness a rise in maximum and minimum temperatures from February 5 onwards. Attributing the rainfall to active western disturbances and dampening of northerly winds, the Met office said mercury would show an upward swing in the coming days.

It was followed by a shivering afternoon with a maximum temperature of 18.8 °C recorded. Cloudy conditions prevailed throughout the day, and no rainfall was reported. In the coming days Jaipur is likely to witness bright sunny days.
“Mercury will take a dip in Jaipur in the coming days. The city will start witnessing a rise in minimum and maximum temperatures from February 5 onwards,” said an officer with Jaipur Met office.
