Min: Rudrabhishek At Shiv Temples On Every Monday Of Shravan | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The devasthan department will organise rudrabhishek at Shiva temples on every Monday of Shravan month for happiness, prosperity, peace and good rains.
Devasthan minister Shakuntala Rawat said that a list has been made of the temples where the ritual will be performed. She said that full help will be provided by the department for rudrabhishek as per the need in other major Shiva temples of the state.
The minister said that these events will be organised according to the scriptures, rules and regulations. “Rudrabhishek has special significance in Shravan and there will be no shortage of budget for this event,” said Rawat.
She said that through the department, necessary guidelines have been given for organising rudrabhishek programmes in important Shiva temples located in other states.
The minister said a grand event will be organised by the department on Somvati Amavasya in Shri Pratapeshwar Temple, Chandni Chowk, Jaipur. She informed that rudrabhishek programmes will be organised mainly at Shri Rameshwar Ji temple Amer, Shri Pratapeshwar Ji temple Chandni Chowk, Shri Rameshwar Ji temple Purana Ghat, Shri Chandreshwar Ji temple Sirhadyodhi Bazaar in Jaipur.
Minister Rawat said that keeping in view the importance of Adhik Maas coming in the month of Shravan, special worship will be held in the temples of Lord Vishnu on Kamla Ekadashi on August 12. She said that on this occasion programmes of Vishnu Sahastranam, Gopal Sahastranam, Purush Sukta, Shri Sukta, and Kanakdhara recitation will be organized in Lord Vishnu temples.
