Mla: Rape case against Cong MLA’s nephew | Jaipur News

ALWAR: A 43-year-old woman has accused the nephew of a Congress MLA of raping her repeatedly with the threat of posting her photos and videos on social media.

The woman, in her FIR to Kherili police station in Alwar district on Monday, alleged that Virendra alias Veeru had been raping her and threatening her by claiming his influence as a personal assistant and nephew of Alwar’s Kathumar MLA, Babu Lal.
The woman claimed Virendra allegedly attacked her husband and her but when she went to the Kherili police station, the staff there refused to register the FIR and asked her to leave the station.

Superintendent of police Anand Sharma said that the woman came to his office on Monday where she gave her complaint to an additional SP, following which her FIR was filed.
When contacted, MLA Babu Lal said his nephew also works as his PA and is being framed as part of a political conspiracy.
The Alwar police said they have filed an FIR against the accused under IPC sections including rape.
The woman mentioned that the accused was an acquaintance of her husband and would needlessly enter her beauty parlour where he promised to help her secure a government job at an anganwadi as he was an aide of the MLA.
She alleged that the accused raped her and also took photos and videos of the act, which he used in the following days to blackmail her.
The FIR also mentioned that the accused threatened to kill the woman and her husband, terrifying her entire family. As a result, they shifted to their village and commuted to the town only for work.
She also claimed that the accused once tried to hit her husband’s vehicle with his vehicle, and the police detained her husband for it.
(The victim’s identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
