Mous Inked With 18 Firms To Train And Recruit Raj Youths | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The state government on Monday signed agreements with 18 companies to provide employment opportunities to youth. The 18 companies, including J K Cement, Micromax Mobile, and LNJ Institute of Skill and Technology, signed agreements to recruit and train youths on RTD (recruit, train and deploy) pattern.
Minister of state for skill, entrepreneurship and planning Ashok Chandna, while addressing the ‘CXO Conclave-2023’ organised here by the Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC), said, “For the first time, a budget dedicated to youth has been presented. The budget for skill development and providing employment to youth has been increased to Rs 500 crore.”
P C Kishan, secretary, skill and entrepreneurship, said the purpose of the conclave was to increase cooperation among employers, training partners and other related institutions. “By strengthening the skill development system established in the state, better employment opportunities can be provided to youth,” said Kishan.
RSLDC chairperson and managing director Renu Jaipal informed that the conclave was organised in collaboration with the ministry of rural development, state rural livelihood mission, sector skill councils, industries and training partners.
Jaipal said the conclave focused on identifying employment opportunities within the state, potential employers, and bridging the gap between employers and training partners. Other objectives of the conclave were to understand the current and future demand of skills sectors and to modify/introduce courses as per the market demand, she said.
