Jaipur: Mutilated body of a 28-year-old man was found on the road near Bonli nursery under Bonli police station area of Sawai Madhopur late on Saturday.
Since police found a damaged bike of the deceased a few meters away from the body, they are considering it to be a case of accident, however, they have not yet ruled out the possibility of murder. The deceased has been identified as Sanwar Mal Bairwa.
Police are awaiting the post-mortem and viscera report to ascertain the actual cause of death to investigate the case further.
According to police, some passersby informed them about a body lying on the road.
A team of senior police officers along with the team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) rushed to the spot.
“Body has multiple injury marks and also head injury. We also found a bike 25 metre away from the body. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of accident, however, it is too early to reach at any conclusion,” said a senior police officer of Bonli police station on Sunday.
Police said that post-mortem, medical and viscera reports will ascertain the actual cause of the death.
“Though his relatives have not suspected it to be a case of murder, we are probing the case properly,” the officer added.
Police said that the man was last seen in the afternoon at his house from where he had gone somewhere.
“His mobile call details are also being analysed by our team,” the officer said.
