Investigation Into: Cm Wants Probe Into ‘cancelled’ Speech At Pm’ssikar Event | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Wednesday demanded an investigation into an event, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the state on July 27, in which he was not allowed to speak despite attending it virtually.
Gehlot claimed that it was within his rights as the CM to address the public that had gathered for the inauguration of medical colleges at Sikar. “Which official made this mistake? My name was there in the list (of speakers). Later, my name was removed,” he said.
“It is within the rights of the CM as the programme cannot be held without the CM. You (PM Modi) held the programme, you removed the name. Despite that, we attended the event (virtually) to keep your (PM’s) ‘maan-samman’ (dignity),” he said. TNN
