Nushrratt Bharuccha opens up about her equation with Chhorii co-star | Hindi Movie News

In her latest flick Chhorii, a horror film by Vishal Furia, Nushrratt Bharuccha is seen sharing screen space with Mita Vashisht. The actress has a lot of scenes with the senior actor who’s known for her performances in TV shows like Swabhimaan, Hip Hip Hurray, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki among others. What with her repertoire in showbiz since decades, Nushrratt says she got to learn a lot from the actor.

Talking about Mita, who was also seen in Criminal Justice, Nushrratt says, “This project was a space where there was so much scope to learn and take from. Especially, when you have a senior actor on set, I just become a child. I am just a child who’s watching, listening and learning by just being around.”

Sharing some instances about spending time with Mita, the Dream Girl actress adds, “There were times when we had long breaks on sets. We were shooting in Bhopal, and the weather was quite cold there. It’s when Mita ji and I would wrap ourselves up in shawls and sit in our chairs and just gaze away at the moon. We would be sitting by the sugarcane fields (where the film was shot) in darkness and talk about life.”

Nushrratt continues, “She would tell me the films that she was supposed to do that didn’t happen due to some reasons. I was taken aback. I was amazed that she was cast or was the initial choice for such amazing films. As an actor you go through such situations in life, but then you also realise that it is not just you but so many actors who have been through the similar situation. I must say that Mita ji has chosen just a brave path for her and she’s at a different level.”
