Paota: Class 10 Student Found Hanging In Classroom In Paota | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: A Class 10 student was found hanging inside a classroom on Wednesday morning by the cleaning staff in the Paota area of the Kotputli Behror district.
Additional SP (Kotputli) Vidhya Prakash said that Sachin Kumar (15) was a resident of Amarsar near Jaipur (Rural). He was studying at the Navodaya Vidyalaya.
“It is a residential school where students live in hostels. He was last seen on Tuesday night. On Wednesday early morning, the cleaning staff saw his body hanging in the classroom,” he said.
The incident sparked panic among the school authorities, and they rushed to the scene. They also alerted the local police about the incident.
“We will investigate the case to determine what led the boy to take such an extreme step. We need to examine whether he was under any kind of pressure,” said a police official on the condition of anonymity.
The sources said that the deceased came from a humble background, with his father eking out a living as a labourer. They also mentioned that the student was selected to join the school in Class 6.
A large number of villagers on Wednesday gathered at the deceased’s house to meet the grieving family members. “It is certainly very heartbreaking to see that a young student died and the case will be probed. We will also speak to school authorities about this case,” the official said. TNN
