Paracetamol Tablets: Neet Aspirant Consumes 20 Paracetamol Tablets In Kota | Jaipur News

KOTA: A 23-year-old NEET aspirant from Bihar’s Khagaria district was admitted to hospital after he consumed 20 tablets of a paracetamol (Dolo 650) at his PG room in Kota on Tuesday evening. Doctors said he was out of danger, but still under treatment.
One of his friends said he had been depressed for some time because he had been scoring low marks in the tests conducted at the coaching institute, despite studying for the medical entrance examination for more than two years.
In his statement to police, however, the youth denied being under depression or attempt suicide. He claimed he was suffering from fever and mistakenly consumed an overdose of the paracetamol tablets, DSP K S Rathore said, adding that investigation in the matter was underway.
