Parents Seek Inquiry Into Plaints Of Fee Hike In Schools | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Parents association in the city has demanded that enquiries should be conducted for all schools where complaints have been lodged for fee hike.
Last month, the district education department had issued an order where the fee regulatory committee found that fee was hiked in a private school in the city against the rules. This was the first action taken under the Fees Act-2017, where the committee has ordered the school to adjust the additional fees increased since session 2018 and to return the additional fees to students who have taken transfer certificates within 30 days.
“We welcome decision of committee to take action against the school, where parents had been fighting since years. But action should be taken on other schools against whom parents have complaint. In three years, we have filed complaints against three dozen schools, action should be taken on those too,” said, said Abhishek Jain Bittu, state spokesperson of Sanyukt Abhibhavak Sangh (parents association). tnn
