Jaisalmer: The district recorded the highest rainfall in the state on Sunday morning. It has been raining for the last 3 days in Jaisalmer due to western disturbances in Pakistan. On Saturday night it rained for 1.5 hours with strong winds in the district. Till 11.30pm, it rained 2.5 inches, leading to 3 feet water on the roads. According to weathermen, rains will continue till May 5.
On the other hand the rainfall made the weather pleasant for tourists on the weekend. However, there was water everywhere in the city. At Hanuman Chauraha in Jaisalmer city, rain water entered shops too.tnn
