Sindhis Seek: Ajmer North: Sindhis Seek New Candidate |

Jaipur: A delegation of Sindhi Samaj Ajmer demanded BJP state president C P Joshi to replace six-time sitting BJP MLA Vasudev Devnani with another young candidate from the community. The delegation submitted their memorandum addressed to Joshi, former CM Vasundhara Raje, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, and deputy leader Satish Poonia. “In the last 20 years in Ajmer, present MLA Devnani has not groomed any person from the Sindhi community as his political successor. Ajmer has a total of 80 municipal wards and the representation of the Sindhi community was only 3 or 4 individuals. The present MLA has never allowed any Sindhi youth to groom his/her political career,” said the memorandum.“Giving a chance to any new candidate would bring fresh ideas and elevate the status of the community,” said Hari Chandani, president of the Sindhi Samaj Ajmer. tnn
