Jaipur: District election officer Prakash Rajpurohit has instructed all the block level officers (BLO) of the district to complete door-to-door verification of the voters’ list by June 23. With the assembly election slated by the end of this year, the district election department would publish the integrated draft of the voters’ list on August 2.
BLOs would verify with the head of the family regarding differently-abled voters, multiple entries of single voter, dead voters and permanently transferred voters in the family. The election department would publish a draft list on August 2 and would start receiving complaints against revision till August 31,” said an official.
“Disposal of claims against revision would be completed by September 22 and the election department would publish the final voters’ list of the district on October 4,” said Amrita Choudhury, deputy district officer.
